Private. Professional. No judgment.

Sexual Wellness for Men & Women

Most people wait years before they ask. You do not have to. We treat sexual health as part of whole body health, in a Ridgeland clinic that has been having these conversations since 2004.

Both forms are private. A real person reads them. Your first consult is free.

The short version

What sexual wellness care looks like here

Enhanced Wellness Living treats sexual health for men and women in Ridgeland, Mississippi. We use regenerative treatments that help your body repair itself. For men, that is GAINSWave acoustic wave therapy. For women, that is FemiWave acoustic wave therapy and Votiva radiofrequency. None of these are surgery. None require downtime.

We are a functional medicine clinic first. So we also look at what is causing the change: blood flow, hormones, sleep, stress, and blood sugar. Treating the cause and the symptom together is why results hold.

You do not need to know which treatment you need. That is our job. Start with a free consult.

Care built for your body

For Men

GAINSWave and root cause care. Performance, firmness, reliability, and the early warning signs most men are told to ignore. Enhanced Wellness Living was the first GAINSWave provider in Mississippi.

For Women

FemiWave, Votiva, and root cause care. Dryness, pain, lost sensation, and bladder leaks. Treatable, non surgical, and hormone free.

For Men

It is a blood flow problem before it is a bedroom problem

Most men wait until it is bad. Then they Google it at midnight. Then they wait some more.

Here is what almost nobody tells them: about 85 percent of erectile dysfunction is a blood flow problem. The arteries in the penis are the smallest arteries in the body. They clog first. That means trouble in the bedroom often shows up years before a heart or blood sugar diagnosis does.

Your sexual health is a warning light. It is worth listening to.

Early signs men miss

  • Fewer nighttime or morning erections. Healthy men have three to six a night. That is how the tissue stays healthy.
  • You can get an erection but cannot keep it.
  • Cold feet that stay cold, even in socks. Your feet and your penis are the last two places to get blood flow. If your feet are cold, circulation is already a problem.
  • Less firmness than a few years ago.
  • A curve that was not there before.
  • Recovery takes longer than it used to.

What we do about it

GAINSWave acoustic wave therapy

Sound waves, not shocks. The waves create tiny amounts of stress in the tissue. Your body responds by healing it and growing new blood vessels. It also raises nitric oxide, the on switch for an erection.

Regenerative injection therapy

Some men add a regenerative injection using a concentrated part of their own blood. Blood flow has to be working first, which is why we usually pair it with acoustic wave therapy rather than using it alone.

The root cause work

This is the part that makes it last. We run labs. We look at hormones, blood sugar, sleep, alcohol, and stress. Then we build a plan around what your labs say, not a one size fits all protocol.
One patient told us on our podcast that he thought he felt fine. His labs said otherwise. Cleaning up his diet and alcohol did more for his energy, his weight, and his function than any single treatment did.

What to expect

How long is a treatment?

About 20 to 40 minutes.

Does it hurt?

We use a numbing cream. Most men describe mild irritation at most.

How many treatments?

Most men need about six, usually one per week.

Downtime?

None. You can go straight back to work or the gym.

Do I have to prepare?

No.

Will you treat anyone?

No. We screen first. We review your medications, your history, and what you are hoping for. If it is not a blood flow problem, acoustic wave therapy is the wrong tool and we will say so.

For Men

The hardest part is reaching out

We have treated men’s sexual health since 2018. We have had this conversation hundreds of times. When we ask men what the hardest part was, almost all of them say the same thing: starting it.

Nothing you tell us will surprise us. Your treatment plan is not discussed with anyone.

Takes about three minutes. It goes straight to our clinical team. Nobody else sees it.

For Women

None of this is something you have to live with

You were probably told some version of this: it is just aging, it is just childbirth, it is just what happens.

That is not true. Dryness, pain, lost sensation, and bladder leaks are physical changes. Physical changes can be treated.

When estrogen drops, the vaginal tissue thins and dries. That happens after childbirth, while breastfeeding, through perimenopause, and after menopause, whether it came naturally or through surgery. Your body did nothing wrong. This is just what tissue does without estrogen.

What women actually come in for

Bladder leaks

The number one thing women do not want to say out loud. Leaking when you laugh, sneeze, lift, or exercise. Knowing where every bathroom is. Planning stops on a road trip. Wearing a pad every day. Not getting on the trampoline with your grandkids. It is common, and it is fixable without surgery.

Regenerative injection therapy

Dryness leads to pain. Pain leads to avoiding sex. Avoiding sex puts distance in a marriage. We see women in their fifties and sixties who have not been intimate with their husband in years and assumed nothing could be done.

The root cause work

Less feeling than there used to be. Difficulty reaching orgasm. Or a desire that just quietly disappeared.

Desire, arousal, and orgasm are three different problems

Most women come in and say the same sentence: I just do not want sex anymore.
We slow down and ask which part changed. Is it desire, which is often hormonal? Is it arousal, which is often blood flow? Is it orgasm, which is often tissue and nerve related? Sometimes it is none of those and you are simply exhausted, and the answer is energy, not anatomy.
Different problems need different tools. Sorting that out is the whole point of the first visit.

The pelvic floor part nobody explains

Your pelvic floor is a bowl of muscles. It runs from your pubic bone to your tailbone. It holds up your organs and it is part of your core.
Two things surprise most women.
One. Only about half of women do a Kegel correctly. The other half push instead of lifting, which makes the problem worse. A proper Kegel has three parts: a pinch, a squeeze, and a lift.
Two. Most women we see are too tight, not too weak. Stress lives in the pelvic floor. Chest breathing keeps it clenched. A tight pelvic floor gets less blood flow, which causes more dryness, which causes more pain, which causes more clenching. It becomes a loop.
Strength is not the goal. Full range of motion is.
When pelvic floor physical therapy is the right answer, we refer you to a therapist who specializes in it. That is not something every physical therapist is trained to do.

What we do about it

FemiWave acoustic wave therapy

Sound wave therapy that improves blood flow and tissue health. Non surgical. Hormone free.

Votiva radiofrequency

Gentle radiofrequency heat that rebuilds the tissue itself: new collagen, new blood vessels, new nerve tissue. It has a built in temperature cutoff for safety. Most women do three treatments, about four weeks apart. Results build over time, with the full effect around month four to six.

Hormones and the rest of it

Balanced hormones make every one of these treatments work better. We look at that too, in the same building, with the same team. Regenerative injection therapy is available as part of some plans.

For Women

You do not have to start by talking about it

We know this is hard to bring up. So we do not make you bring it up cold.

Our female patients get a sexual health questionnaire they can fill out privately. One of the questions on it is simply whether you want to talk about it at all. If you are not ready, you check no, and nobody pushes. It stays available for when you are.

Takes about three minutes. It goes straight to our clinical team. Nobody else sees it.

Often it is both of you

Sometimes his problem is her problem. We have seen a man’s erectile dysfunction turn out to be emotional rather than physical, because his wife was in pain and he did not want to hurt her. She had never told him. He had never asked.

When one partner changes, both partners feel it. Many of our patients come to us as couples. We can care for both of you, in one place, with one team.

Pick whichever form fits you. We will take it from there.

All Things Sexual Wellness

Kelly Engelmann started this podcast for one reason. Women were not asking for help, because they did not have the words. Men were not asking either. Every episode is an honest conversation with a clinician, a therapist, or a patient willing to talk openly.

Questions

Answered honestly.

What is regenerative sexual wellness?

Regenerative treatments help your body restore its own function instead of masking a symptom. Acoustic wave therapy, which is GAINSWave for men and FemiWave for women, uses sound waves to improve blood flow and tissue health. Votiva uses radiofrequency to rebuild tissue and support the pelvic floor. All of these are non surgical, done in our Ridgeland office, and require little to no downtime.

About 85 percent of erectile dysfunction is a blood flow problem. The arteries in the penis are the smallest in the body, so they show damage first. Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, poor sleep, alcohol, and chronic inflammation all reduce blood flow. Hormones and stress also play a role. This is why sexual changes often appear years before another diagnosis does.

Acoustic wave therapy is done with a numbing cream and most patients describe mild irritation at most. Votiva uses controlled heat with a built in temperature cutoff so the tissue is never burned. There is no downtime after either treatment.

Most men need about six acoustic wave treatments, usually one per week. Most women doing Votiva have a series of three treatments about four weeks apart. Your plan depends on your consult and your labs.

Yes. Radiofrequency treatment can strengthen and rebuild pelvic floor tissue without surgery and without hormones. Pelvic floor physical therapy is often part of the plan. Many women assume surgery is the only option and it is not.

Yes. Consultations are private and your treatment plan is not discussed with anyone else. Our team has had these conversations thousands of times. Nothing you bring to us will surprise us.

No. Start with a free consultation. We listen, assess what is driving the change, and recommend the right plan. Many patients also benefit from addressing hormones and overall wellness alongside treatment, and we handle all of it in one place.
