We start by looking closely at your scalp and your hair, and by talking through your history. Established wellness program patients receive their scalp evaluation at no charge.
We test for the drivers listed above, then build the nutrition and supplement plan your results call for. For many patients this alone changes the trajectory of shedding.
DERIVE treatment is delivered in a series of three sessions, spaced about a month apart. The treatment works by delivering growth signaling material into the scalp to stimulate dormant follicles, paired with microneedling to improve absorption and stimulate the tissue.
For qualified patients, additional regenerative approaches can be added and are discussed in consultation. There are no needles involved in the DERIVE treatment itself and patients consistently report that it does not hurt.
Hair grows slowly, so we measure rather than guess. Visible change typically takes about six months, because that is how hair biology works and no honest clinic will tell you otherwise.
Aftercare is simple: leave the serum on overnight (ideally 24 hours) and hold off on coloring your hair for a day or two.

DERIVE is right for you if your hair is thinning or shedding, you still have hair to work with, and you want to know what is causing it. It works best early. The follicle has to still be alive for any treatment to wake it up.
It is a particularly good fit if you are also dealing with fatigue, weight that will not move, or digestive trouble, because those usually share a cause with the hair.
DERIVE is not a hair transplant and it is not a substitute for one. If you have advanced pattern baldness with no follicle activity remaining, a surgical consultation is the honest recommendation and we will tell you so.
If your hair loss is driven by an autoimmune condition such as alopecia areata, that is a different clinical problem with a different path. We can assess what is driving the autoimmune activity, and we will be straight with you about what this program can and cannot do.
