COST, INSURANCE, AND PAYMENT

How much does the wellness program cost?

The initial consultation is $500. The 16-week Comprehensive Wellness Program ranges from $3,500 to $6,000. Your price depends on how complex your case is and how much testing you need. You will know your full price before you commit to anything.

No. Enhanced Wellness Living is a cash pay practice. We do not file insurance claims for any service. We tell people this on the first phone call so nobody is surprised later.

Insurance pays for short visits and billing codes. It does not pay for the time it takes to find out why you feel bad. Staying outside insurance lets us spend real time with you and order the testing your case actually needs.

No. Enhanced Wellness Living does not bill Medicare, Medicaid, or any private insurance plan. All care at our Ridgeland, Mississippi clinic is paid directly by the patient.

Yes. You have three ways to pay. Pay in full and you get a discount. Split your payment into three parts. Or finance through Advance Care Card, an outside company that sometimes offers interest free months.
Many patients use HSA or FSA funds toward care at Enhanced Wellness Living. Check with your plan administrator first, since rules vary by plan. We provide an itemized receipt for anything you submit.

GETTING STARTED

How do I become a patient at Enhanced Wellness Living?
Start with a complimentary 15-minute phone call. Fill out the short form on this site or call 601-364-1132. A member of our clinical team calls you, listens to what is going on, and answers your questions. If we are a good fit, we book your initial consultation.
The 15-minute call is a two way interview. You tell us what has been happening with your health. We tell you how we work, what it costs, and that we do not take insurance. Both sides decide if this makes sense before you spend any money.
Your initial consultation is a long, in depth visit. We go through your whole history, your symptoms, your goals, and any labs you already have. Kelly Engelmann often asks what the first domino was, meaning the moment you first stopped feeling like yourself. You leave with a clear picture of what testing and what plan come next.

Yes. New patients complete a new patient packet before the first appointment. Fill it out on a laptop or desktop computer rather than a phone. The form is long and works better on a bigger screen.

WILL THIS ACTUALLY WORK FOR ME

Can you guarantee results?
No. Be careful with any clinic that does. Every body is different and we will not promise you an outcome we cannot control. What we do promise is that we will not give up on you, and we have practiced this way in Mississippi for over 20 years.
Most of our patients arrive exactly like that. They have normal labs and still feel awful. The difference is that we pair testing with a written plan. Kelly Engelmann’s frustration with other practices is fancy testing and no plan of care to act on, which leaves you holding results nobody helps you use.
Yes. This is the most common thing we hear. Patients tell us their doctor said the labs were fine when clearly they were not okay. Normal range is not the same as optimal, and we look at patterns a standard panel review skips over.
It depends on your body and your case, so we will not give you a date. The 16-week program opens with a 21 day reset that asks the most of you around food. Most patients tell us those first 21 days were much easier than they expected.
Enhanced Wellness Living keeps going. We build in time to re-evaluate what is working and what is not, rather than sending you off with a plan and seeing you in three months. If Kelly Engelmann believes someone else is better suited to your case, she will tell you and refer you out.
Yes. Functional medicine is a clinical approach that looks for the root cause of symptoms instead of only managing them. Kelly Engelmann is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned a second master’s degree in metabolic and nutritional medicine from the University of South Florida Medical School. Our providers order lab work through accredited laboratories.

WHO THIS IS RIGHT FOR

Who is a good fit for Enhanced Wellness Living?

You are a good fit if you feel unwell, your labs keep coming back normal, and you want to know why. Most of our patients are between 40 and 60 years old, though people in their early 30s come to us too. Our patient base is close to half men and half women.

You are also a good fit if you are willing to change things. Labs tell us where you are. Lifestyle is how you get somewhere else. Both parts are required.

You are not a good fit if you want a prescription and nothing else. Many people want one pill to fix it, and lifestyle is usually what is driving the problem. You are not a good fit if you cannot make the time for appointments, or if the cash pay investment does not work for your budget right now.

If money is the only thing standing in the way, ask us about the three payment options before you rule us out. We would rather have that conversation on a 15-minute call than have you decide alone.

CONDITIONS AND SERVICES

What conditions do you help with?

The four we see most are fatigue, weight that will not move, digestive problems, and hair loss. Most patients arrive with all four. We also treat hormone imbalance, thyroid problems, brain fog, poor sleep, autoimmune conditions, and men’s and women’s sexual wellness.

Yes. About half of our patients are men. Men usually come to us for fatigue and brain fog rather than sexual concerns, though those come up too. Many tell us they get home from work and they are done, or that they used to have all the answers and now they have to go looking.

Yes. Patients come to us with rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, Crohn’s disease, and thyroid autoimmunity. We assess what is driving the inflammation rather than treating the label alone. We do not replace your rheumatologist or specialist.

Yes, two ways. Kelly Engelmann looks at nutrition and root causes first, because hair is often the first thing to go when something deeper is off. We also offer DERIVE, our in clinic hair restoration program.

Yes, for both men and women. Men’s care is anchored by GAINSWave acoustic wave therapy, and Enhanced Wellness Living was the first GAINSWave provider in Mississippi. Women’s care includes FemiWave and Votiva. Every path starts with a private consultation.

Yes, pharmaceutical grade supplements through our online store and in clinic. We prescribe supplements inside an established patient relationship, not as a shopping list to strangers. What you take depends on your labs and your plan.

HOW CARE WORKS HERE

What is functional medicine?

Functional medicine is medicine that asks why. Instead of naming your symptom and matching a drug to it, functional medicine looks for what is driving the symptom, then treats that. At Enhanced Wellness Living we call the framework labs and lifestyle.

Labs and lifestyle is how Kelly Engelmann describes our process. Your labs are the map that shows you are here. Lifestyle is how you travel from here to where you want to be. Testing without a plan is just expensive data.

No. Enhanced Wellness Living works alongside your existing doctors. We are an integrative practice, which means we use root cause functional medicine and conventional medicine together when conventional medicine is the right tool.

Yes. Every Enhanced Wellness Living patient gets a roadmap card so you always know what comes next. Patients told us the thing they missed most at other clinics was direction, so we made the plan a physical thing you can hold.

Yes. Food comes first at Enhanced Wellness Living and has since 2004. The first 21 days ask the most of you. Nobody has to be perfect, and the phrase our team uses is progress over perfection.

No. Patients drive to us from across Mississippi, some three hours or more. They come from the Gulf Coast, the Delta, Oxford, Starkville, Tupelo, and everywhere between. We build visit schedules that respect the drive.

High volume query and a real friction point for patients driving three hours. Do not publish an answer either way until confirmed.

Initial consult scheduling has been running close to week to week, so a fixed lead time would be inaccurate and would need constant updating. Recommend a range Stacie can stand behind, or call us for this week’s availability.
